"When I designed SJÖPENNA floor and table lamps I wanted to combine different materials. Recyclable plastic and fabric strings on the lamp shade, solid wood in the legs and a fabric cord. The details in natural materials create a fine contrast to the plastic, but also to the visible construction and somewhat simple design which is inspired by traditional Japanese paper lamps. I hope people appreciate the lamp’s toned appeal – and the soft, pleasant light that it spreads."
